“Bodies likely to reach Pakistan tonight” following an Iran bus tragedy
The Pakistani diplomat conveyed optimism that a special aircraft would probably arrive in Iran this evening and that the bodies will be returned to Pakistan by tonight.
According to Mr. Tipu, Pakistan is receiving full backing from the Iranian authorities to send the bodies to Islamabad.
He said, “They’re attempting to move the bodies and injured to Pakistan.”
Following an accident involving a bus carrying pilgrims in Yazd, Iran, at least 35 Pakistani pilgrims lost their lives and numerous others were injured.
The unfortunate bus flipped over and caught fire close to the Taftan-Dehshir checkpoint, according to sources in the Iranian media.
The majority of the 53 passengers aboard the bus were from Larkana, Ghotki, and other Sindhi cities.
According to Iran’s state TV, “a bus carrying Pakistani pilgrims overturned and caught fire in front of Dehshir-Taft checkpoint in the central province of Yazd on Tuesday night.”
Regretfully, this disaster claimed the lives of 11 women and 17 men. The crisis management director general of Yazd province told Iran’s state TV that six of the injured have now left the hospital and that seven of the injured are in serious condition.
