CM Maryam travels to Shanghai to visit Jinko Solar Company.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz had a busy day in Shanghai on Wednesday, the third day of her historic, multi-day trip to China.

When Maryam Nawaz and her group visited the Jinko Solar Panels Manufacturing Plant in Shanghai, they received an overview of the latest advancements in solar technology and products.

The Chief Minister extended an invitation to the company to set up a solar panel manufacturing facility in Punjab.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also paid a visit to the Pakistani pavilion at the Hongqiao Import Exhibition and Trade Centre, where she was pleased to meet a young entrepreneur who sold Pakistani goods.

Maryam Nawaz expressed a strong interest in the e-commerce industry and highlighted its potential for economic expansion. She also instructed the Punjabi government to research worldwide e-commerce patterns and create plans to grow the industry in Punjab.

Importantly, CM Punjab just introduced a free solar panel scheme for 100,000 of the province’s power users. Through an online portal or SMS, customers can apply for the program.
