COAS Gen. Asim Munir observes the Indus Shield-2024 multinational exercise
In keeping with the exercise theme, “Stronger When Together,” 24 prestigious Air Forces are participating in the largest international exercise in the region, which is taking place in state-of-the-art facilities to promote interoperability and training.
The Pakistan Air Force’s combat readiness and the advancements gained through different modernization and upgrade initiatives have pleased the COAS.
Later, he observed drills and static displays of several disruptive and specialized technologies, and he received an update on the Pakistan Air Force’s modernization initiatives to keep up with the latest security threats. Fighter jets from the PAF then put on an amazing aerial display.
COAS General Asim Munir also spoke with the pilots and praised the PAF’s determination to protect Pakistan’s air borders.
Inter-service cooperation, which he considers crucial to attaining operational success, was highlighted by him.
Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of Air Staff, informed the Army Chief about the PAF’s modernization and indigenization efforts, which include the introduction of cutting-edge weaponry.
Indus Shield-2024, a continuous exercise, will help strengthen interoperability among participating nations and prepare their air and ground troops to meet the difficulties of modern warfare, he emphasized.
