Congo Conflict: Pakistanis Stranded in Rwanda Are Allowed Entry

With the active assistance of Naeemullah Khan, Pakistan’s high commissioner in Rwanda, the Rwandan authorities have allowed access to stranded Pakistanis.
Approximately 150 Pakistanis were left stranded in the city of Goma when the fighting in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was recently intensified.
As of right now, approximately 75 Pakistanis have relocated to Rwanda, according to the Foreign Office.
The impacted Pakistanis have been provided with food and lodging by the Pakistan High Commission in Kigali.
For the purpose of identifying and contacting any other citizens who may be experiencing difficulties, the High Commission is also contacting the Pakistani community. In the days to come, more Pakistanis are probably going to cross over to Rwanda.
