Create banknotes and make money: SBP’s newest contest

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) invited designers, artists, and art students to submit their ideas for new currency designs by March 11, 2024.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has started the process of issuing a fresh series of banknotes. An art competition is being held to generate creative and theme-based design concepts for the new series of banknotes. The Art Competition is open to all local designers, artists, and art students/designers.

The issues that the participants can work with are social and cultural identities, demographic diversity, environment preservation and climate change, economic growth, natural landscapes, architectural legacy, and national symbols, among others.

It is required of the artists to create original concepts and designs. By March 11th, 2024, the designs must be sent to the Director of the Finance Department at the State Bank of Pakistan, located at I.I. Chundrigar Road in Karachi.
