Development & Progress: SIFC-Backed White Oil Pipeline To Save Billions By Reducing Expenses

The White Oil Pipeline project, a major milestone in Pakistan’s Energy Infrastructure, has the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council. On the initiative of Pakistan State Oil, the parkway and interstate gas system under the Frontier Works Organization, an agreement has been struck for the 477 km Macheke-Thalian-Turujba pipeline.

Running parallel to the highway, the pipeline will link the Attock refinery, Chak Pirana, and Faqirabad, as well as Machike-Thalian and Thalian-Turujba neighborhoods.

The Attock Refinery, Chak Pirana, and Faqirabad will all be connected by the pipeline.

The goals are to save billions, cut expenses, and guarantee a consistent supply of oil. It can hold up to 10 million tons annually, with an initial capacity of 7 million tons.

In addition to reducing environmental effect and increasing oil distribution efficiency, the project will lessen dependency on road transportation.
