22,366 applicants from all around Sindh completed the exam, yielding a 58.79% pass rate.
In the exam, which was administered by Dow University, 38,041 candidates took part. Of them, 12,572 candidates showed up for the NED and Ojha test centres. 6,947 individuals from this group were eligible for MBBS, and 7,941 candidates were eligible for BDS.
The MDCAT 2024 results were previously made public by the University of Health Sciences. On September 22, 56,519 applicants took the test to be considered for admission to Punjab’s medical and dentistry institutes. 48,051 applicants out of them received more than a 55% score, while 51,018 candidates received more than a 50% score.
99.50%, or 199 out of 200, was the highest possible score. Two female pupils, Iqra, daughter of Muhammad Azam, and Zainab Munir, daughter of Munir Ahmed Qadir, shared first place in the MDCAT with a combined score of 199.
The results of the MDCAT 2024 exam were previously formally announced by Khyber Medical University (KMU).
The test was taken by more than 42,300 candidates. For the MDCAT 2024 exam, the PMDC established six centres. To guarantee smooth operations, a Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) and an Assistant Commissioner monitored every test centre in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mahboob Ali and Qaiser Ali took first place with 194 marks, according to a university spokesman.
A total of 24,518 candidates were found to be eligible for BDS, and 21,355 were found to be suitable for MBBS after taking the MDCAT 2024 exam. The results from Khyber Medical University also showed that 658 students did not show up for the exam, while 38 candidates received more than 190 marks.
Thirty percent of candidates received a score below 100, according to the data.
