Dr. Zakir Naik arrives in Pakistan
Dr. Naik arrived at Islamabad International Airport early on Monday and was greeted by officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including Syed Dr. Atta ur Rehman.
Rana Mashood and Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs Shamsher Ali Mazari were also there at the airport to greet Dr. Naik.
Zakir Naik and Sheikh Faruk Naik are travelling to Pakistan at the government’s invitation.
Dr. Zakir Naik is scheduled to address audiences in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad.

Dr. Zakir had before articulated his intention to visit Pakistan during a podcast with a Pakistani YouTuber. He intended to visit Pakistan in 2020 but was unable to due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
In the interview, Dr. Zakir Naik was enquired about his decision to migrate to Malaysia rather than Pakistan after leaving India.
In response to the inquiry, he stated that his familiarity with the people in Pakistan facilitated his visit.
He additionally stated that had he wished to travel to Pakistan, he might have done so; but, there exists a principle of Shariat that advocates for the acceptance of minor losses to avert significant losses.
