Due to security concerns, Quetta has temporarily halted Internet and mobile services.

In Quetta, internet and mobile phone services have been temporarily blocked because of security concerns.

The Balochistan Home Department says the services, which were cut off on Sunday night, should be back up by Tuesday, January 7 at midnight. Residents have been greatly inconvenienced by the suspension.

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) has declared a nationwide shutter-down strike for today (Monday).

According to JUI-Balochistan chairman Maulana Abdul Wasay, demonstrations will go on till their demands are fulfilled.
