Due to the judge’s leave, the hearing on Imran Khan’s bail requests has been postponed.

Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), submitted post-arrest bail requests in seven cases pertaining to the events of November 6, but the hearing was postponed without proceeding.

Amjad Ali Shah was on leave, thus the hearing in the anti-terrorism court (ATC) was postponed without any proceedings.

Advocate Hasnain Murtaza Sanbal, Imran Khan’s attorney, was present in court. There were also other members of the legal team there, such as Irfan Ahmed Khan Niazi and Muhammad Faisal Malik.

The hearing of another petition, which called for the establishment of a medical board to perform a thorough medical assessment of Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, has been postponed till September 18.

In relation to these cases, Imran Khan is still being held in judicial custody at Adiala Jail. The court had requested arguments from both sides and had also called up the relevant police records during the prior session.
