Due to the suspects’ failure to show up for the identification parade, the ATC summons the Islamabad DC.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Islamabad has been summoned by the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) for neglecting to bring the suspects who were arrested from D-Chowk to their identification parade.

During a hearing on the topic, Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain gave the directive.

During the hearing, defense attorneys and prosecutor Raja Naveed came before the court. The judge wanted an explanation after expressing dissatisfaction over the suspects’ failure to present for the identification process. “The DC must appear in court and explain why the suspects are not being produced for the identification parade,” stated the judge.

In order to discuss the matter, the court has also called all pertinent Assistant Commissioners. “Police officers stand outside the jail, but suspects for the identification parade are not,” the judge said, criticizing the lack of coordination.
