The government has not made any such offer and has no plans to make one, according to a statement released by the ECP spokeswoman. The panel categorically denied that there was any conjecture about the situation.

The ECP has reaffirmed its commitment to guaranteeing free and fair elections in Pakistan and asked the people to be on the lookout for misleading information.
