Educational institutions around Punjab resume operations with the alleviation of smog.

A notice from the provincial government states that schools would reopen at 8:45 AM. The notification requires that all students, teachers, and school staff wear masks, with school administrations accountable for enforcing this requirement.

Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb commented on the issue, indicating that challenging decisions were implemented to safeguard public health, and observed that the alteration in the direction and velocity of the eastern winds had ameliorated the smog conditions in Punjab.

On Tuesday, schools in the Rawalpindi Division reopened due to an improvement in air quality following a reduction in smog.

The Punjab administration previously declared the closure of schools from November 17 to 25.

The local authority has relaxed regulations, extending the operating hours of all hotels and restaurants to 10 PM. The dining and takeaway services will be accessible in restaurants until 10:00 PM.
