Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is celebrated nationwide with religious enthusiasm and zeal.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him), which commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), is being commemorated today (Saturday) with religious fervor and passion throughout Pakistan and around the world.

In honor of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the day began with a 21-gun salute in each of the provincial capitals and a 31-gun salute in Islamabad. For the event, the federal government declared a public holiday in all government offices and educational institutions.

Mosques held special prayers for the preservation and growth of Islam as well as the welfare, unity, and advancement of the Muslim Ummah.

In honor of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), streets, roads, marketplaces, and buildings have all been exquisitely decked up and adorned with lights, colors, and banners that display text.

To commemorate the yearly religious festival, a variety of events will be held nationwide, such as processions, conferences, seminars, and debate programs.

The government has made particular preparations this year to mark the year 1447 Hijri as the 1500th blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), in accordance with a resolution that was unanimously agreed by both Houses of Parliament.

A thorough plan has been outlined by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to draw attention to the salient features of the life of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Rasool Allah Khatam-un-Nabiyyeen Sallallah-o-Alaih-e-Wasallam.

The International Seerat Conference, which will take place in the Jinnah Convention Center in Islamabad, will be the day’s major event. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari are anticipated to attend.

To attend the international conference, eminent academics, respected Ulema, diplomats, and representatives from both domestic and foreign countries have traveled to Islamabad.

A national “Qur’an and Seerat Exhibition” with manuscripts, books, and digital content pertaining to the Qur’an and Seerat will take place in addition to the International Seerat Conference in Islamabad.

Every city will have milad processions where Ulema and Khateeb will highlight various facets of the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), emphasizing the importance of adhering to his teachings and Sunnah.

Additionally, Mehfil-e-Milad will be held in all major and small cities to showcase many facets of the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH).

In order to celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor and passion, a number of social, educational, and religious groups will also plan their programs.
