Faisal Javed of the PTI is charged with journalist misconduct.
According to specifics, on August 9, 2022, Faisal Javed threatened and assaulted a TV reporter, according to the charge sheet against him.
The written decision ordered that the PTI leader’s case be pursued, declaring it illegal to threaten a journalist.
Faisal Javed of the PTI, however, refuted the charges of misbehaving and intimidating a journalist.
Leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Faisal Javed, obtained transit bail from the Peshawar High Court (PHC) last month after emerging from months of hiding.
After PTI founder Imran Khan was arrested on May 9, 2023, he fled into hiding. During this time, military institutions, most notably Corps Commander House Lahore, were attacked.
In exchange for $100,000 in bonds, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted him transit bail and mandated that the PTI senator appear in court.
Speaking with reporters outside the court, Faisal Javed declared that the turnout of voters on February 8 was “unprecedented” in the history of the nation.
He said he was happy to have been granted bail and that everyone goes through difficult times. “I hope everyone who is oppressed goes home,” he continued.
It is important to note that a number of party leaders are now either in jail or hiding following the events of May 9 and the government crackdown on pti.
