FBR will punish non-filer social media influencers harshly.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made the decision to take strong measures against social media influencers who do not file taxes.
Sources claim that after a list of people who filed income tax returns by September 30 is created, large-scale activities would start in October.
According to sources, NADRA provided information on non-filer influencers who show off their wealth. Their bank accounts, expenses, international trips, credit cards, and ATMs are already known to the FBR.
The FBR will use monitoring to verify the information of celebrities who gain widespread popularity on social media. FBR will scrutinize non-filers who display expensive vehicles, homes, apparel, and jewelry.
In order to guarantee tax collection for the national exchequer, sources further stated that prominent figures from social media and show business who are not subject to taxes are being closely watched.
