federal government eliminates the “B-Form” prerequisite for enrollment in schools

With this change, the number of children who are not in school will go down and school enrollment will rise.

In announcing the decision, Secretary of Education Mohiuddin Wani said that vulnerable populations had been disproportionately impacted by the “B-Form” requirement. Every child should have access to high-quality education, according to Wani’s mission statement.

The education ministry of Pakistan has announced that, as of right now, all children living in Islamabad, irrespective of their documentation status, will be able to enroll in government schools.

All children in Islamabad should have far greater access to education and higher school attendance thanks to this inclusive strategy.

Pakistan is home to the second-highest percentage of out-of-school children in the world, according to UNICEF data. Of children aged 5 to 16, 22.8 million, or 44% of the total, are estimated to be not in school. 28 million OOSC are believed to reside in Pakistan, according to recent reports.
