Fireworks prohibited in Lahore on New Year’s eve

All forms of aerial displays and fireworks are prohibited, according to a statement released by the Environment Protection Department on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner Lahore issued a warning that anyone found to be in violation of the ban will face severe consequences.

The deputy commissioner stated, “We are working to control smog and reduce air pollution in the city, and we urge citizens to cooperate with us in this effort.”
