Flood Relief Efforts in Balochistan: Railway Track Rehabilitation Is Underway

Relief efforts are being carried out in Balochistan’s flood-affected areas by FC Balochistan (North) in coordination with other organizations.

Local villages have suffered damage due to significant floods in the Districts of Qila Saifullah, Chaman, and surrounding areas caused by recent rainfall.

The most severely impacted localities include Garhi in Qila Saifullah, Akhtarzai, Ali Khel, and Basu Khel.

In addition to moving civilians to safety, FC Balochistan (North) and the Civil Administration gave ration packs, tents, and blankets to flood victims.

Mudslides at Sheila Bagh have forced the closure of the railway track that runs between Quetta and Chaman.

FC, the railroad authorities, and other organizations are working to quickly restore the track.
