Four fatalities and more than 20 injuries occurred when a bus overturned in Khanewal.

Four people died and more than 20 sustained injuries when a bus overturned in Jangle Maryala on Saturday night.

Upon receiving notification, police and rescue teams promptly mobilized to the accident site and initiated rescue operations after transporting the deceased and injured to Khanewal and Jahanian District Hospitals.

The unfortunate bus was in route to Faisalabad from Rahim Yar Khan. The collision occurred as two busses were competing. The injured comprised children and women.

Three of the deceased were members of the same family. The individuals have been identified as Mirag Din, Ishrat Bibi, Sharaf Bibi, and Sajjda Bibi. Three of the injured were said to be in critical condition. Rescue teams transported all the injured individuals to the hospital. The police are conducting an investigation.
