Hafiz Naeem tells the PM to work more to bring Mushtaq Ahmed back safely.

On Friday, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Hafiz Naeemur Rehman spoke on the phone with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During the call, he told the Prime Minister to do more to get Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and other Pakistanis who were detained by Israel from the Global Sumud Flotilla released and safely returned.
The Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, told him that Deputy Prime Minister (PDM) and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is in charge of the issue.
Hafiz Naeem said that this is not simply a problem for Jamaat-e-Islami; it is a problem for all of Pakistan. He vehemently opposed the Israeli raid on the Global Sumud Flotilla and the arrests that followed, calling them very bad.
The JI leader also spoke out strongly against US President Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan on behalf of the country. He said that Pakistan should stick to its position of only supporting the creation of an independent Palestinian state.
He said that Pakistan should not back any strategy that gives Israel more power in the end.
Hafiz Naeem also talked about how bad things are in Azad Kashmir and how important it is to be careful with things that affect the people of Kashmir. He told the administration to deal with the problem appropriately by talking about it.
He further said that the story told by a small number of people should not be taken as the voice of all Kashmiris.
