If a rapid release is not feasible, Saif demands improved amenities for the PTI founder.
Barrister Saif highlighted the continuous attempts to address the present political predicament. He explained that he communicates ideas and solicits Imran Khan’s opinion on important issues, but he does not serve as his courier.
When asked about his meeting with the PTI founder in the Adiala Jail, Saif replied that he talked to Imran Khan about several ideas and sought his opinion. He also mentioned that the government’s offer to permit a sit-in in the Sangjani region was discussed during the consultations.
According to him, Imran Khan approved moving the demonstration from D-Chowk to the Islamabad suburb of Sangjani; however, his suggestion was not carried out. Saif refrained from naming the individual who blocked the execution of this decision.
Saif stated that our primary demand is for Imran Khan to be freed, but if this cannot be done right away, at least the founder of the PTI should be given better facilities, as he is currently being detained in a tiny cell for more than 36 hours.
Bushra Bibi, the wife of the founder of the Pakistan PTI, was accused by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on November 26 of masterminding the turmoil that resulted in the loss of life and property in Islamabad, claiming that “one woman” was responsible for all of the destruction.
The PTI was advised to hold their demonstration at Sangjani in Islamabad, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated earlier in the morning.
According to a federal minister speaking to the media here, “Barrister Gohar had also visited Adiala Jail twice and held meetings.”
“The government has not received a response from the Tehreek-e-Insaf, despite reports that the PTI has received approval from the jail,” the interior minister stated.
The PTI must decide whether or not to travel to Sangjani, according to Naqvi. “We have also told the PTI about the red line; if it is crossed, authorities will take drastic measures,” the minister cautioned.
