IHC directs Adiala jail officials to provide the PTI founder by today at 3 p.m.

The IHC requested that the PTI founder be brought to court by 3:00 PM today so that he can meet with his attorneys.

In his skeptical statement during the hearing, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq said, “I know you will not comply with my orders.” “This is going to be a high court once you put the PTI chairman in court,” he added.

The authorities have been directed by Justice Ejaz Ishaq to make appropriate security measures and bring the PTI chairman to court. “If you can’t present him, you will explain to the court tomorrow why it wasn’t possible,” he continued.

Since his removal as prime minister in 2022, Khan has been involved in hundreds of cases and has been imprisoned since August 2023. He also started a protest movement against a coalition of his enemies led by current Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In another event, President Joe Biden has been urged by 62 US Congressmen to support the release of Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, and other political prisoners.

Congressmen Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, two well-known Muslim members, wrote a letter urging the Biden administration to ask Pakistani authorities for guarantees on the safety of PTI founder Imran Khan.
