In Karachi, another guy lost his life after thwarting a heist.
According to the information, bandits opened fire on them for resisting robbery at Korangi’s Vita roundabout, killing one person, known as Mohammad Fayyaz, and wounding another, identified as Fawad Bakhsh.
It is important to note that the event was reported just one day after robbers in the Korangi district of Karachi shot and killed a private university student for refusing their advances.
The woman was stopped by two suspects on her way home from the gym, according to the police.
According to authorities, “the suspect fired a bullet that hit near the victim’s eye, which turned out to be fatal.”
After learning of the murder, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah instructed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to make sure that Laraib’s perpetrators be apprehended as soon as feasible.
A representative for the CM House stated, “There is no place for such incidents and students are our precious assets.” Mr. Shah made these remarks. In order to curb the concerning increase in mugging events, he gave the police orders to set up pickets and step up patrols.
On Tuesday, DIG Ghulam Azfar Mahesar suspended the area SHO Faraz Ali Khan and demoted him to the rank of assistant sub-inspector from sub-inspector with immediate effect.
