The moon sighting for the upcoming month has been forecast by the meteorological service. March 2 would mark the start of Ramazan.

On February 28, there is little chance of seeing the Ramazan moon. At the end of this day, the moon would be thirteen hours and twelve minutes old. Any sighting would require the moon to be 19 hours old.

The department stated that the prediction for Shaban 29 would be both clear and cloudy.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final pronouncement in this regard, it is worth noting.
