In response to the FIA notice, Omar Ayub requests the report of the Hamood ur Rehman Commission.
The secretary general of the PTI, Omar Ayub, said in a written response to the FIA notice that he will bring up the notice in parliament and file a legal challenge.
Attorneys for Omar Ayub responded by claiming that the PTI leader received a confusing and derogatory letter that contained unlawful inquiries.
In response, Omar Ayub said, “The notice has to do with the incidents of Dhaka’s collapse, which the government had formed a commission over.” “The entire report that the Commission had provided to the state in 1974 was neither denied nor disputed,” the response stated.
“The reply said that the Cabinet Division’s record contained the report of the Hamood ur Rehman Commission.” The Federal Investigations Authority (FIA) has never been a department headed by historians or above the legal system. According to the response, “the notice’s sole purpose has been to malign Omar Ayub and the PTI founder.”
Ayub has requested a copy of the Hamood ur Rehman Commission report from the FIA so that he can prepare a response to the agency’s notice of investigation.
Attorneys for Omar Ayub declared that their client would “use his right to raise the issue of the FIA’s notice in the parliament and challenge it in court.”
