For ten days, beginning today, March 27, and ending on April 5, the local government in South Waziristan (Lower) has enforced Section 144.

A notification has been sent out about this decision.

The announcement states that the action is intended to preserve the district’s tranquilly while safeguarding property and public lives.

One-wheeling and aerial fire, particularly on Chand Raat, are strictly prohibited.

During this time, it will also be prohibited to flaunt a weapon, use tinted car windows and ride a motorbike twice.

According to the notification, anyone caught in violation of Section 144 shall be subject to judicial action under Section 188 of the legislation.

In order to protect the public and prevent any unfortunate events over the holiday season, this step has been implemented.
