In the majority of the country, PMD forecasts cold, dry weather.

For the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly dry and cold weather throughout much of the country, with extremely cold morning and nighttime temperatures in hilly regions.

In isolated areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir, however, a light rainstorm, wind, and thunderstorm (with light snow on the hills) is anticipated.

A shallow westerly wave is hitting the northern regions of the country, while a continental air is dominating the majority of the country, according to the synoptic situation.

In the last 24 hours, the majority of the country has had chilly, dry weather, with hilly regions seeing extremely cold temperatures. However, there were isolated occurrences of rain and snow in Kashmir, Murree, Galiyat, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
