The MDCAT exam was reportedly taken in order to gain admission to Sindh’s medical colleges. According to the police, the suspects, Abdul Majeed and Qaiser Ali, were apprehended while trying to take the test on behalf of other applicants.
According to Section 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code, a case has been filed at the Mobina Town Police Station.
The complaint was submitted by the supervising professor, and the case also names facilitators Kamran Haider and Mukhtar.
Earlier today, Sindh was hosting another round of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024.
More than 38,000 students participated in the MDCAT 2024 retake, according to the information. The test was placed at a number of locations, including the University of Karachi and NED University in Karachi, and lasted for three and a half hours.
According to IBA Sukkur, who was entrusted with planning the retest in accordance with court orders, there were 200 multiple-choice questions on the exam.

The candidates were instructed not to bring any electronic devices, including smartphones or smartwatches, with them by the testing officials.
Additionally, candidates were instructed to bring one of the following original documents to the test locations, along with their original admit slip, as this is required for verification.

The juvenile card, passport, matriculation marksheet, intermediate marksheet, and VC of Sukkur IBA of the applicant Dr. Asif Shaikh stated that since the management had taken every precaution to guarantee the examination was conducted fairly and without cheating, there was no concern about cheating or paper leaks during the exam.
He continued by saying, “Special teams have been formed for the test, and the papers are placed in strict security.”
