In the Ramzan Sugar Mill transfer case, the verdict is pending.
The Ramzan Sugar Mill transfer case against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz was set for a verdict on Thursday by an accountability court in Lahore.
An accountability court hearing was presided over by Justice Zubair Shehzad Kiyani. A court appearance was made by PM’s attorney, Anwaar Hussain.
A plea for an exemption from hearing from Hamza Shehbaz was also granted by the court during the hearing.
Removing any suggestion that the NAB opposed the case’s transfer, the prosecutor begged for the case to be sent to the anti-corruption court.
The verdict was postponed by the court.
