In the Women’s World Cup, Australia defeats Pakistan by 107 runs.

Australia won the ICC Women’s World Cup by a score of 107 runs over Pakistan.

Australia set a target of 222 runs, which the Pakistani team failed to reach after only 36.3 overs, scoring 114 runs. With 35 runs, Sidra Ameen was the leading scorer.

Rameen Shamim contributed 15 runs, while Pakistan’s skipper Fatima Sana and Nashra Sandhu each scored 11. Not a single other player reached double figures.

Australia was in serious difficulty at one point when its seven players were dismissed at 76 runs.

But Australia managed to score 221 thanks to centurion Beth Mooney.

Against the reigning champions, Pakistan chose to bowl first after winning the toss.
