India is acting destabilizingly near the Line of Control: Interior Minister of AJK

Waqar Ahmed Noor, the interior minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and other high-ranking officials attended a press conference to disclose India’s purported disruptive actions along the Line of Control (LoC).

Minister Noor charged Indian soldiers and intelligence services with escalating regional instability in a media appearance. He emphasized India’s lengthy history of sabotage and unprovoked shooting at defenseless civilians along the Line of Control.

Indian troops are still firing randomly at people around the Line of Control. Allegedly, India is destroying the border by transporting and utilizing explosive materials.

The LoC has seen at least 54 recorded instances of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) being deployed since 2016.

Minister Noor stressed that these moves are a component of India’s larger plan to cause instability in the area. He urged the international community to take notice of India’s alleged violations and ensure the protection of civilians in the area.
