Islamabad, Peshawar, and other northern cities are rocked by a 5.9 magnitude earthquake.

Residents of numerous Pakistani cities, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar, were alarmed by the earthquake jolts they felt.
The Seismological Center reports that the 5.9-magnitude earthquake occurred 111 kilometers below the surface, with the Hindu Kush mountain range serving as its epicenter.
Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Abbottabad, Haripur, Malakand, Swabi, Swat, and the neighboring districts were all obviously affected by the shocks. People began reciting prayers as they hurried out their houses into the open as panic broke out among the populace.
There have been no reports of property damage or casualties as of yet. Rescue services and local authorities are keeping a close eye on the situation and are ready to react in case of an emergency.
