According to Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), a million march will take place in Karachi on April 27.

In a statement released here, Karachi JI emir Munam Zafar stated that the purpose of the Million March was to draw attention to the urgent problems facing Karachi residents, alleging that the MQM-P, PPP, and PML-N were not committed to finding solutions.

Munam Zafar promised that his party would keep working for the welfare of the masses and predicted that “Haq Doo Tehreek” will gain traction following Ramadan.

Price increases, deteriorating peace and order, and terrorist attacks, he said, were worrying issues that needed to be addressed by all political parties and the ruling class.
