A fishing boat carrying about fifty fishermen perished in the deep sea close to Thatta earlier on March 5, according to the Fisher Folk Forum.

Approximately fifty fishermen were on board when the fishing boat capsized in the Arabian Sea, according to a Coastal Media Center representative.

“In Hajamro Creek, between Karachi and Thatta, the boat was submerged in the sea,” a spokesperson said.
