Karachi property valuations are issued by FBR.

A value notification states that the Abdullah Haroon Road and Air Force Society has been set at Rs. 5,000 per square foot. Each square foot of real estate in Air Force Society (Baloch Colony) costs Rs. 30,000, while those in Akhtar Colony cost Rs. 1,400, Alfalah Society Rs. 1,400, and Ali Basti Rs. 700.

Askari I, II, and III properties are priced at Rs. 1,100 per square foot, Askari IV at Rs. 8,200 per square foot, Askari V at Rs. 15,000 per square foot, DHA Phase I through VII at Rs. 8,200 per square foot, DHA Phase VII Extension at Rs. 5,000 per square foot, and DHA Phase VIII at Rs. 7,300 per square foot in price.

Property valuation rates for immovable properties in 56 cities were increased by the FBR earlier on October 30.

Beginning November 1, 2024, the FBR increased property valuation rates by 75% of the going rates.

Enhancing revenue collection and lowering property undervaluation are the goals of this decision. By increasing the number of cities impacted from 42 to 56, the revised rates demonstrate the FBR’s dedication to matching property valuations with their actual market value in accordance with World Bank requirements.

There are several categories for residential, commercial, and industrial properties in the new valuation rates.

After receiving approval from the FBR chairman, the public is anticipated to receive a comprehensive notification of these updated prices shortly.
