Khyber Mail engine en route to Karachi catches fire

Near Gujrat city in Punjab, the train’s engine caught fire as it was traveling from Peshawar to Karachi.

Once they noticed smoke emanating from the train’s engine, the railway personnel notified the driver.

The train came to a stop close to Haripur Band Station after crossing the Chenab River, where the fire was promptly put out.

Nevertheless, the tragedy did not result in any recorded loss of humanity.

After then, a different engine was used to dispatch the train.

Before, four of the bogies on the Millat Express, which was headed for Faisalabad, derailed close to the Kotri railway station, just avoiding a massive calamity.

Details reveal that four Millat Express bogies that were traveling from Karachi to Faisalabad derailed close to Kotri junction as a result of a brake issue.

When the train bogies derailed, a number of passengers had minor injuries, but there were no confirmed fatalities.
