KSA and Pakistan are collaborating to improve relations: PM Shehbaz
In an interview with Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood today, he conveyed his satisfaction with the developments of the agreements about the Saudi investment of 2.8 billion dollars in Pakistan.
As he reflected on the two countries’ long-standing friendship, Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Saudi government and leadership for their unwavering support of Pakistan.
“The visit of the Deputy Interior Minister and his delegation would contribute to strengthening ties in these critical areas,” the Prime Minister said, emphasizing the importance of military and security cooperation.
Additionally, the current state of affairs in Gaza and the broader Middle East was discussed. Recalling the recent Arab-Islamic gathering in Riyadh, the Prime Minister lauded Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s stance on Palestine and praised Saudi Arabia’s leadership for hosting the gathering.
Saudi Arabia’s leadership role and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s efforts to bring the Muslim community together in the fight to put an end to the carnage in Gaza brought on by Israel’s ruthless acts were acknowledged by PM Shehbaz.
Additionally, he reiterated his invitation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit Pakistan on an official basis as soon as possible, adding that the Pakistani people look forward to his kind reception.
