Leghari announces the cancellation of August electricity bills for flood-affected regions.

On Saturday, Minister for Power Awais Leghari expressed appreciation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for his prompt and benevolent decision to eliminate energy costs for areas impacted by flooding.

The minister announced that the electricity bills for August had been entirely waived for users in the flood-affected areas. He stated that the sums previously collected would be reimbursed to the individuals.

Leghari stated, “The Power Division will guarantee the prompt execution of the Prime Minister’s directive,” reiterating the government’s dedication to alleviating the difficulties faced by citizens affected by floods.
