Legislators from the PTI present the party with their affiliation certificates.

Reportedly, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf secretariat received statements from up to 35 MNAs. The primary party leaders, Barrister Gohar Ali of the PTI, Omar Ayub, Shaharyar Afridi, Ali Muhammad Khan, and others, have all turned in their statements under oath.

Additional affiliation certificates with the party leadership have been presented by nine MPs from Sindh and more than 100 MPAs from Punjab.

Probably on Monday (today), PTI will turn in the statements to the Pakistani Election Commission.

After the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had previously awarded reserved seats to other parties, the top court in a split decision gave the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf these.

There are 92 members of the PTI in the National Assembly, including those who were previously identified as Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) backers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

22 National Assembly reserved seats that the ECP had previously awarded to other parties are now available to the PTI thanks to the SC ruling. The PTI MNAs will number 114 in total.
