Malala concludes her trip to Pakistan with a message to promote girls’ education.
Malala Yousafzai, the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, arrived back in London on Monday following her trip to Pakistan, where she attended the International Conference on Girls’ Education in Muslim Communities.
At the Islamabad International Airport, Malala was said to be leaving by Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz and Nergis Shazia Chaudhary, Director of Home Publicity, Press Information Department.
During the conference’s closing session, Malala spoke as a guest of honor and focused on advancing women’s empowerment and literacy.
With 120 million girls now not attending school as a result of numerous socioeconomic and political circumstances, she brought attention to the dire situation that millions of girls confront globally.
Looking back on her own path, Malala, who started her campaign for education in Pakistan, said that the nation would always have a particular place in her heart.
