Maryam Nawaz Visits Huawei Technologies During CM Punjab’s Trip to China

Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the chief minister of Punjab, met with Mr. Wang Chengdong, the chairman of Huawei’s government affairs division, at the Huawei Technologies Center in Shanghai’s Longgang District.

The corporation gave her a warm welcome during the visit, and they talked about their aspirations to work with Huawei to turn Lahore into Pakistan’s first modern smart city.

Maryam Nawaz extended an invitation to Huawei to invest in Pakistan, namely in Punjab, and provided her full support for the establishment of a manufacturing and assembly facility there. Additionally, she suggested opening an after-sales service center and retail location throughout Punjab.

The conference covered a wide range of topics, including Huawei’s ongoing projects in Pakistan, e-commerce, and the digitization of healthcare and education.
