Maryam, the CM of Punjab, permits the building of new passageways

The building of new corridors in Punjab was approved by Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, on Tuesday.

A special meeting chaired by CM Maryam resulted in her formal consent to create new corridors throughout the province.

In contrast to the one-way road from Depalpur to Vehari, which would be converted into a two-way road, the meeting resolved to build two-way roads from Sahiwal to Chichawatni, Rajana to Layyah, and Shorkot to Charagh Wali Jihang.

Through cooperation between the Punjab government and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), all three of the projects, valued at Rs 210 billion, will be finished by December 2025.
