Meeting Between the Foreign Minister and the Vice Premier of China: Dar and Zhang Agree to Work Together on Civil Nuclear Technology
On the fringes of the first Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels, Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing met with Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The longstanding “Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership” and unwavering friendship were praised by Vice Premier Zhang and Foreign Minister Dar as being exceptional and one-of-a-kind.
They both acknowledged the significance of Pakistan and China’s long-standing collaboration in civil nuclear technology.
The One-China Policy has traditionally been supported by Pakistan, as Foreign Minister Dar emphasized.
He emphasized that Pakistan was in complete agreement over its relations with China and its steadfast support for Phase 2 of the CPEC.
The Vice Premier of China emphasized that China would help Pakistan stabilize its economy.
He stated that China is prepared to improve the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and to deepen bilateral ties in a number of areas, including as industry, mining, and information technology.
