Miller claims that the US is dedicated to helping Pakistan battle terrorism.

During a news briefing in Washington, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller voiced worry about the ongoing terrorist attacks in Pakistan and the kidnappings of police personnel.

Miller acknowledged that terrorism had caused the Pakistani people to endure enormous losses. He said that the United States supports the families impacted by such violence, especially in the wake of the Quetta attack on November 9.

Miller emphasized that the Taliban had previously promised not to permit terrorists to utilize Afghan territory in answer to inquiries about their involvement in terrorism sponsorship.

According to the US State Department spokesperson, Washington is still dedicated to working with Pakistan on counterterrorism initiatives.

“There are ongoing discussions to improve military and civilian capabilities in the fight against terrorism,” he said.

Additionally, Miller discussed the murder of a Sikh American citizen, which is suspected of being the product of an Indian plot. The U.S. government is treating the issue seriously with India, he promised, and he urged them to address the concerns that Sikh citizens in the US suffer.

Prior to this, the US also voiced its condolences for the victims and denounced the recent terrorist assault in Karachi.

We are very grieved by the reported number of fatalities and injuries, and we condemn the tragic incident that occurred close to Karachi’s International Airport. During a press conference, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller expressed the agency’s deepest sympathies to the affected individuals.
