Most of the country is forecast to see cold, dry weather.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the majority of the country will see cold, dry weather over the course of the next 24 hours.

Most districts of Punjab, higher Sindh, and plain portions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to have moderate to dense fog in patches during the morning and night, while western Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience light rain and snowfall by evening or night.

The majority of the country is currently under the influence of continental air, but starting tomorrow evening or night, a shallow westerly wave is predicted to impact the upper and western regions.

The country has seen cold, dry weather over the past 24 hours. Much of Punjab has seen moderate to severe fog, and northern Balochistan, Kashmir, Murree, and Galiyat have seen light rain.

On Thursday, the temperature in Leh dropped to -11 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in the nation.

Once more, FOG

Lahore and other Punjabi cities were once again shrouded in thick fog on Friday, which disrupted traffic and paralyzed daily life.

A representative for the Motorway police said that all traffic has been prohibited from using Motorway M2, which connects Lahore to Kot Momin; M3, which connects Lahore to Darkhana; M4, which connects Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad; and M11, which connects Lahore to Sialkot.

Drivers are encouraged to travel on Grand Trunk (GT) Road by the motorway police. Drivers have also been advised to turn on fog lights and drive more slowly.

People have also been warned by the Motorway police to stay at home and refrain from needless travel. Traffic has also been hampered by dense fog in a number of locations across the nation on national routes because of poor visibility.
