Most of the country will continue to have cold, dry weather: PMD
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the majority of the country’s plains will continue to see mostly cold and dry weather during the course of the next day.
Nonetheless, areas in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can have overcast skies with wind, rain, and snow.
The country’s upper and western regions are still being impacted by a shallow westerly wave, which is a contributing factor to the predicted weather.
Most of the country saw chilly, dry weather over the past 24 hours, with extremely cold temperatures in highland regions. There were scattered patches of shallow to moderate fog in northern Punjab.
On Tuesday, the temperature in Leh dropped to -11 degrees Celsius, making it the coldest place in the nation.
