Much of the country is expected to experience hot weather.

It will be mostly hot for the next 24 hours in most regions of the country and extremely hot in plain areas.

However, during the evening and night, dust storms or thunderstorms with sporadic rain are predicted in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar Region, Upper Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A westerly wave is impacting the country’s upper and central regions, according to the Met Office.
