NA 64: Qaisra Elahi defeats PMLQ’s Salik Hussain in a bare-knuckle election

The wife of former chief minister Pervez Elahi, Qaisara Elahi, was proclaimed the winner of the NA-64 postal vote count on Tuesday by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Salik Hussain of the PMLQ-League received 29 votes, while Qaisara Elahi, backed by the PTI, received 98 votes.

Gujrat seat NA-64 was one of the most intense races amongst blood relations during the 2024 elections.
