NA Passes Resolution: House Demands UNSC To End Palestinian Genocide

A unanimous resolution was passed by the National Assembly urging the UN Security Council to act forcefully to halt the genocide against the Palestinian people and to hold Israel responsible for war crimes.

The Resolution was introduced in the parliament by Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister.

Speaking on the House floor, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that people from all over the world are speaking up for the oppressed and innocent Palestinians, and that Pakistan and the Islamic world are saddened by the martyrdom of Ismael Haniya in Tehran.

According to him, extraterritorial and extrajudicial terrorism are both abhorred in Pakistan.

In a eulogy to the martyr Islmail Haniya, the prime minister remarked that he and his family made extraordinary sacrifices for the Palestinian people.
